Does anybody worry that they might be a Rougarou? (Serious thread is serious)

So the past three or four days I've been waking up feeling like I didn't sleep at all. In the mornings I have been having weird nosebleeds as well. What got me worrying is my nephew said he saw something running across their pasture in the moonlight. I axed him to draw what he saw and it got me pretty shook up, yeah.


Yesterday morning my dogs wouldn't come near me and were cowering. Last night I was cutting up a deer I killed and couldn't help but try a piece of raw backstrap. It was good so I kept eating it. Plus I had another nosebleed and I have some weird hairs growing from my nipples.

I've read that a cajun witch could put a curse on somebody, turning them into a Rougarou. Last week I stopped at Billy's for some smoked boudin. I got the last 2 links. The old lady and her bessonne in line behind me were giving me a death stare. Do you think they could have turned me at Billy's or is there some ritual involved with this?
