I’m a 19-year-old sophomore Political Science major at Southern University here in Baton Rouge.

What are some major issues you address in your campaign?

quote:

Seeing economic development in North Baton Rouge. I want to see more small businesses rather than corporations. Supporting corporations won’t give as much back to a community as a small business would. I’d especially like to see black businesses. I know that’s difficult because, 1.) its hard for black people to start a business and that’s not fair. 2.) Businesses are hard to keep up if no one is supporting them. I’d like to find a way to encourage people to start businesses in North Baton Rouge as well as try to get involved in the community.

I would have to ask, before making a comment like that ... just how many of those businesses had a solid business plan? How many of them did a competitive analysis to indicate whether or not their store is wanted and/or needed? And how many had 10 to 12 months of capital in reserve for start-up and slow times?

quote:

Why should Baton Rouge hire you?

quote:

Because I’m actually going to do my job. I mean, we hire these people and they don’t know how to do their jobs.

quote:

Would you describe your campaign?

quote:

I would definitely say that it is non-traditional because I used GoFundMe.com to raise campaign funds. I was sort of stepping on the line with Board of Ethics on that one because of some weird regulation. But we got it approved.

Personally, I'm glad to see her get involved and wanting to make a change for "her better." However, I do believe she is going about it the wrong way, as evidenced by her lack of campaign donations.

Whenever someone says "it's not fair" I stop listening/reading etc.

How far will 2 grand go in a political campaign?

Enough for 3 or 4 changes of clothes

She's an idiot and must have a sociopathic level of ego to think she is even close to qualified for any adult job.

"Political Science Major" = a complete, low-intellect fraud.

The fact she goes to Southern and is only a sophomore is just piling on.

You're just as bad for entertaining her delusion.

Obviously not! We have 2 5-year olds running for President of the US!

The only people more ignorant than her is the people who donated money to her.

sounds like a great solution. What's the answer?

I hope not. I see no color. And I am very forgiving. My wife used to date several African Americans (not all at once - thankfully) before she met me.

I only get slightly offended when she calls me shorty and not because of my height.

Damn right it matters. If someone is under 30, unless they've been working with government since they were 18, odds are good that they don't know their arse from a hole in the ground, and if they're over 70, they may be senile or feable.

From way back in the stone ages of my high school where we used the latest technology and wrote on soft clay so we could erase, some states and offices require a minimum age. For instance: Must be at least 35 to be President of the USA.

I hired one as an office assistant at my last company. Position was essentially my second.

Say what you want about a political science major, he was at least capable of writing a correctly punctuated and grammatically correct email.

Looking at you, business and "enhindering" (who the hell programmed that in my autocorrect) majors.

Like pulling fricking teeth with you people.
