The hair acts as a barrier, protecting you from those bacteria and viruses entering the body. As another poster mentioned, shaving can lead to skin irritation and damage.

The only possible health benefit that I have seen is- no pubic lice. Every other benefit is aesthetic. Not arguing that it's not worth the risk. It just always amazes me that people think it's a practice that improves their health.

Having hair gets in the way and itches the ball sack, shave that shite! No hair, makes it go in deeper too.
