Just curious how many of you ventured away from where you grew up as you got older.

Left for 10 years to go to school and screw around. Realized the city wasn't meant for me so I moved back to the country. Still work in the city though.

I moved off for college and I moved around quite a bit for work after that. I was gone after I graduated undergrad for about 13 years. I moved back really close about 18 months ago. I have averaged moving about every 3 years. I might stay a little longer this time, but I prefer living in bigger metro areas. I was in DFW and Nashville prior to moving back.

Nope. My parents just moved from there as well. Aside from going to see an uncle who lives there, doubt I'll really return, aside from passing through on the interstate.

I moved back to NOLA for a few years after college. Have not lived there since. Money from work and quality of life are too high in DFW area for me to really want to move back.
