I say it with the JAH (rhymes with Bahamas) and think paJAMas sounds retarded. Perhaps im in the minority.

I feel the exact opposite, pajahmas sounds really stupid to me. But I have never really thought about it till now. As long as people get what you are talking about, I see no issue.

I worked at a safety company one time and we were interviewing fire watches. The receptionist is calling them up to the desk for paperwork one at a time. From my office I hear "pajamas? Is there a pajamas here?". I stick my head out the door like wtf? Black woman stands up and tongue clicks "it's PAjumeeeeze!"
