Do you put your sneakers in the washing machine?

They're starting to look dingy and wiping them off with a damp cloth is not getting as clean as I'd like

No...time to buy new shoes.

Remove the laces, skip the dryer. Put in a splash of vinegar to kill the smell.

Do what you do but watch my shoes

In front of fridge overnight

Yes, but the dryer will tear them up. Wash on delicate and sit them upside down over a vent overnight.

If the stuff in yellow cap can't fix. Dunk in bucket of water w dish detergent (the powder kind) then sunk in water a few times. Air dry on back porch on a sunny day. Make sure you open shoe up to light as much as possible.

Squirt a little dish soap on them and hose them off. Use a scrub pad if necessary.

Who the hell calls them sneakers?

Starting to get dingy?
Sounds like they just got demoted to grass cutting shoes. Buy a new pair, and toss the current grass cutting shoes away.

I keep my shoes clean, I hand wash them every week or so, so I never really let them get really dirty (and for the people who say "why do you even wear shoes? Do they even get dirty?". Yes, I do use my feet to push open doors, etc so they do get used and get dirty so... )

washing machine works well, but is a little rough on them.
dishwasher works very well, too...just don't use dishwashing detergent, as it has a bunch of bleach in it. I generally would put them in the sun to dry.

I put them in the washing machine with bleach anytime I get a pair dirty. Who gives a shite. It cleans them and my feet are much harder on them then the washing machine.

If I would've said running shoes, training shoes, gym shoes or any other specific kind of shoe
Then I would've gotten a bunch of smart arse comments and you know it

Yes. Use 10 second sneaker cleaner and scrub a bit then spray with simple green. Let sit for about 5 mins and toss them in the washer with a bit of powdered Tide. Works for me.
