OT, do you have a preference on how your cold drinks or beer is prepackaged? A friend of mine is always dead set that a can drink and canned beer is the best. How many people out there are picky about this?

Thoughts?

Some beers I prefer in cans and some in bottles.

I'll pick draft over each of those though

I have no preference at all...I'd bet few people could tell which is which in a blind taste test.

The selection of beers offered is generally different between can, bottle, and draft, so I pick whatever beer I want and basically take it in whatever form it is offered.

Draft is always best. But after that, I want a can, that I may pour into a glass.

Bottles are a shitty beer vessel. They allow light into the bottle, which degrades beer quality. Yet psychologically, our minds associate glass with being cleaner. But modern cans with good liners are just and clean. And glass recycling is an inefficient waste.

I'm glad good breweries are canning more frequently. It also allows you to drink good beer when you're paddling whitewater.

If I have a preference of a good coke (I only drink coke with dinner), I would take a good ole glass bottle coke. If not, I would take a good fountain drink, depending on the ice...

I wish they'd sell Mexican coke in cans. I don't understand how they won't sell the original formula to Americans. Instead they import the good stuff from Mexico. It's a pretty evil genius type marketing ploy.
