You're a douche if you 'yell at' anyone at work.

When I'm ultimately responsible for a deadline and some of the work is delegated to adequately allocate resources and one person does absolutely zilch they deserve raised voices. We're not talking someone unable to do the work, we're talking somebody who does nothing but play on her phone/facebook all day (when she showed up).

I still gave this person multiple chances. I even basically made her a glorified file clerk since she shown she was too incapable/lazy to do anything higher level. I gave her a week to organize a filing cabinet and she didn't even touch one single file.

Shes the only person I ever had to fire and I felt bad doing it and put it off longer than I should hoping she would turn things around. This hardly makes me a douche.

New boss started yesterday and she, wants us to sign in and out at her office to "keep up" with everyone, give TEN days notice for time off and have bi-weekly meetings one on one

Sounds like you're an intern now baw. Do you have to write a paper at the end of the summer about what you learned?

My boss is okay most of the times, but I swear she's bipolar or something. She'll blow up over smallest things and thinks everyone is out to get her. I get along with her boss a lot more, but she's tried to cut me off and making everything run through her, which doesn't make sense since she's shared with me she's not committed to our company long term. Just trying to placate her until she finally leaves.

My boss's are cool. Usually give out incentives and some to employees all the time.

Not that I give a shite, but I don't want my guys to think I'm an absolute arse. Gotta be stern but lay back enough where they don't work against you.
If there's work to be done, don't let me catch you sitting on your arse when everyone else is catching hell. If it's a slow shift, do what you gotta do, but don't bitch if something pops up.

If you show up late, don't make it a habit. And if we're working days, I like bacon egg and cheese on my biscuit.

IMO a good boss does not care if their employees like them. All the matters is that they respect them. In my experience, bosses who do care if their employees like them or not at all effective.

The owner of the company I work for is an awesome boss, very easy going and considerate. However my manager is an idiot, douche bag cocksucker...

I report directly to the owner of the company. He's ebeneezer scrooge made over (over 1M in profit last year and I got a measly 1&1/2 week bonus),

is a hypocritical deacon of our church that has his slut gf in his office on the reg (he's married btw),

he dumps trivial stuff on my desk daily that he could do (while I'm working on large projects) to make him money, and

frowns when I want to take a couple of days off (we don't have set time off like most places). I just go ahead and plan when I want to be off, because if I didn't, I'd never get a break.

Other than that, he's ok. It's a job, and mama never said it'd be easy.

People who are assigned as my direct boss keep leaving, but I've liked every one of them because they usually hand assignments and let me do them.

It's the sales group we work alongside. Bunch of fricking retards.
