Some lady used to come into a family members business, she was very open that she had it and was married and said she couldn't give it to her husband.

Hey serious question though, how much are his meds?

Had a friend who got a needle stick (from an iv needle used on a hiv patient) and without workers comp, but with insurance prices it was like $150 a DAY!!

When I was 4, the kid across the street's dad had it. Had no clue what it was.

No idea. I think he might be on disability or something. Excluding gay, drugs, and HIV he has many problems. His mom has a nut case. He didn't stand much of a chance. Don't think he ever had much of any job. Been many years since I have seen him

If her viral load is undetectable and he is taking pre-exposure prophylaxis meds, the chances of infection are pretty low.
Been awhile since I've seen the data but I want to say the risk of a male contracting HIV through vaginal intercourse is like 1 in 2,500 exposures.

I dated a pharmacist for a while and she said with the number of prescriptions they filled for AIDS drugs you would think about 10% of the population had it.

Tell me about it.

That friend is actually my wife. We went through hell. She is negative (had 6 month check recently). Oh yeah, she is pregnant.

I want to kill every IV drug user on site

Dude that's terrible. Is she a nurse or something? My girlfriend is a nurse and I'm scared to death of that shite happening to her.

ETA: glad everything is okay

I think that is about right. I think its goes up to like 2% per exposure with anal sex and the receiver is more likely to contract than the giver.
