I dipped from 1990 until about 16 months ago. I loved it. Within a few weeks my Uncle passed away from cancer (not related to tobacco) and a colleague was diagnosed with throat cancer (again, not tobacco related) and i looked at myself in the mirror and thought how disrespectful I was being to myself and arrogant to those with issues and haven't touched it since. I'm totally not judging anyone, just saying what it was for me. I don't even miss it one bit and smelled some a few months ago and it almost made me vomit.

Of course, my porn viewing has increased ten fold since then...
