I work offshore and it takes me a few days to unwind when I get home. I always feel like I have a ton of stuff to do and need to get it done asap, when I have 3 full weeks to do whatever.

Nope,

I rarely think about work but when the guys get called in for breakdowns on the weekends, I do a

dance because that means the bottom line will be great at the end of the month

IMO weekends aren't necessarily for "relaxing". They're for doing what you want. If that means sitting in front of the TV all day then by all means, but that's a pretty boring life IMO. Work your arse off all week just to spend the weekend on the couch? I'd rather do things, but to each their own.
