I agree. Have a Case I have carried every day since High School. Have my fancy Case I use when getting a little more dressed up. Very thin, single blade my uncle gave me as a birthday gift 30 years ago.

not sure what your everyday application would be but for me I open boxes , letters etc and the Kershaw Launch 4
It is a small and compact knife with an automatic function.
Overall length 5.10" with a blade length of 1.90"

I don't EDC, but I do keep an Opinel in the center console of my car and have a couple more around the house.
It's a great knife at the price point, and I appreciate the minimalist beauty of it.
