I'm assuming youre a young pup? Dude, nothing wrong with having standards. Not at all.
But, if you let them control you to the point of being neurotic, you're in trouble.
Shop around. I did until I was 30, and it saved me a shite ton of headaches and dough...no doubt.
When you're ready, she'll appear. The truth is, it's not finding THE GIRL that's the problem. It's being mature enough to recognize her when you meet her.
Enjoy the hunt while it lasts...its much more fun than the kill, anyway.

insecure. you're more worried about how others see you with your new girlfriend. Do my buds think she's hot or cool? Will my ex be jealous? that crap doesn't matter. Nobody beyond grade school put stock into superficial shite like that.
You need to be focusing on the positives each one brings instead trying to figure out what's wrong. And I mean real shite like, Wow, this girl seems to have a good relationship with her parents. Noted she asked my about my day went. She seems to be well mannered. That's being mature about a relationship. The good things or things you like are what you can look for in the next girl or at least you have idea of what you do like about someone instead of what's wrong with them. When you think positive, you act positive, and this will carry you better through life.

ETA #2: BPT got pissed and wanted me to clarify. By 5-6 I'm using the OT scale more so than average joe scale. The 5-6s aren't bad.
