Do we really need a book board, what’s the last book you read?

I listened to David Goggins’ book on Audible. Does that count as reading?

I haven't finished a book since June. Too much stuff going on.

The only thing I don't like about the Book board here on TD is that people don't talk enough about books. It rarely has new posts. (I haven't checked today)

Maybe there should be TD Book Board Book Club. But it would be hard to pick a book that everyone would want to read.

My idea was The Symposium, devoted to not only books but also history, philosophy and art. But that was rejected. I guess the mods thought they could get book advertising w/a dedicated book board

I tried to do this with short stories (before the book board was started), but that got no response

On the Book Board, us intellectuals enhance our knowledge and personal growth while everyone else languishes in sin, trolling and misery.

I can only get about halfway through books. But I've read about 50 half books this year.

Well, that's a shame because it seems/sounds interesting.

I'm a librarian ... so I know how it is to try to get book/reading clubs started (or not)
