What was their plan? If they make everyone gay then we can't reproduce anymore?
it was their intention to attack America's moral character to induce cultural rot from within. had nothing to do with reproductive rates

If that's the truth you may be gay and haven't realized it yet. It's okay though I accept you

If left to our own devices would society have accepted gays in the U.S. without the constant hounding from the media? What are your thoughts on this?
It has been pushed with a bulldozer by media. Most people don't really give a shite about what another person wants to stick their dick in. The gays and media force "acceptance" and love of gays, and blacklist anybody who doesn't come out and say how much they love gay people. People who say "I don't care what someone sticks their dick in" are hounded for not being "tolerant" enough. If the issue was allowed to naturally evolve rather than being pushed (first by gays themselves, then by media) on everybody, then it wouldn't be a big deal. People have a problem with gays because a very large segment of the gay population chooses to flaunt it and shove it in everybody's face. It's like they wave a gay flag to see people's reaction, and are upset by anybody who doesn't respond according to protocol.
tl;dr version:
Shut the frick up, go about your life, and nobody would even care. The push for universal acceptance is what causes the backlash problem.

Yes, as we can see now, the Russian culture and economy is doing so much better than that of the US. If only we could emulate them.

So then you do consider the alternative. Got it. I don't. There is no alternative for me.

no, it's not a large population, like most things, it's the vocal minority
but also, ignorant rednecks think 2 dudes holding hands in public is "flaunting it"

it baffles me how angry people get when they see gay people on TV
just baffles me
just baffles me

I'd say a bit of both. Really, I think the Internet and the rapid sharing of ideas has opened minds a lot more than it would have been if we didn't have it. That said, its certainly the media that makes it frowned upon to degrade homosexuals.

I guess the point of my comment may have went over your head. The point is that it's an absurd strategy.

so even if the premise of this thread is true? the media pushed the "gay agenda" on us
why should we care?
why should we care?

Did you watch the clip? The Soviets completely understood they could not compete with us economically, hence the funding/founding of KGB operations in CONUS to push liberal ideology....I'd say if you look at the country over the last 60 years, it worked.

Agreed.
I don't know about any of you guys here, but as for me, what two guys or girls do to each other behind closed doors has absolutely no effect on me whatsoever. None. Zero. Never has. Never will.
If one of my kids end up having the gay, all that means is that I won't have grandkids.
I guess if the gays can marry, that means the government will implode? I think that's doing fine by itself.

It's another one of the many ridiculous stigmas that just needs to go away.
How does some one else being attracted to their same sex negatively effect society? As long as they love each other and treat each other with the respect that we all deserve, who the frick cares? To get all bent out of shape over a complete strangers sexual preferences when it is none of your business and doesn't effect you is akin to caring what color car they drive.
"But, but, they can't procreate. It's not 'natural'."
So the frick what? News flash, the world is plenty full already. We don't need everyone to procreate. Hell, most of the dumbasses out there pumping out kids are the LEAST ready and able to raise a kid successfully.
Homphobia is the immature irrational fear of something you don't understand. It's also been used as a red herring to distract people from the REAL issues plagueing this country.

Should have said "large enough" percentage of their population flaunt it.
"Gay pride" parades, etc have anything to do with it, you think? If some rednecks have a problem with gays, that's their business. Who the frick cares? Trying to force universal acceptance is the problem. Leaving it at "some people just don't like gays" would be the best long-term solution, but they feel they must have everybody on their "side." This is the problem.

Not at all. Watch the video I posted. It is an interview with a defected KGB agent, made decades ago. The strategy has proven quite effective at influencing media/Hollywood/colleges. Watch the vid.
