Do the college kids still frequent the O-T Lounge and TD in general?

If so, how's the distance learning been treating you? How do you perceive the professors handling this? I can imagine there are some professors that might not be comfortable with suddenly transitioning to online classes or even know how to do so.
I know classes at LSU start back up on the 30th but there might be some others back in class.

The median age here is probably 35

One of my professors just passed our entire class and said we don’t have to do anything else for his class the rest of the semester

It's weird how college students don't create a pipeline to TD like they used to. You go to LSU, create a TD account, and start posting. That's how it worked up until the early 2010s.

All of our lectures were recorded in Pharm School. Would skip class half the time and watch the recorded lecture later that day on my laptop at home.
Saved me 30 minutes driving back and forth, and I didn’t have to deal with people playing on facebook in front of me or the baw that played WOW in class that sat next to me. Much less distractions watching at home with headphones in

Just anecdotal, but I think there was a big surge with LSU undergrads in the late aughts and a bit beyond (2007-2013), but a ton of us have stuck around but are now in our early to mid 30s.

You can check out any time you like. But you can never leave.

Yeah, I joined in college and remember a lot of posters being around my age.
I used to catch shite for being so young on here (I was only 18) and now my arse is about to turn 30.

Not exactly a "kid" but I do qualify as a college student. The distance learning so far feels like a giant rip off.

Can I get a Dr Pepper? These slots are too hot to get up.

I agree with you.
I don't know, I was just wondering if 18-23 year olds actually participate in TD. I appreciated the occasional student complaining about a professor or class or something associated with LSU, just to at least know what's doing on campus beyond traditional media.
Maybe Reddit is the more popular place for college kids to participate in digital shennagins that used to be a staple of the O-T and other forums.

I graduated college in 2014.
I took 3-4 online classes where the teacher taught via his/her class was videod it wasn’t that bad and wish I took more of them

I finished my masters in 2015 and half of my classes were online. However, the professors teaching those classes knew they had to use this format and had experience with it, and the students taking online classes could be prepared as well.
I really wonder how the professors that haven't done this will adjust, as some either can't because of the type of class (kinda hard to make ceramics in a ceramics class now) or they have an aversion to using technology.

I had plenty of professors who thought posting on Moodle was some space-age wizardry. I cannot imagine how some of them are managing online classes.

So, the funny thing is that, because I had that same experience, I *still* believe you're all older than me and am shocked when I find out you aren't
