I'm watching TV and seeing commercials for the "Le Vian" chocolate diamond collection. Do women actually wear these? No woman I know would be caught with one.

I think it's a black folk thing

We wear these around here, motherfricker.

Stupid people.
The diamond industry owns the world of advertising.

They wouldn't be selling them if the answer to your question was "no".

BINGO.....you can sell people anything all it takes is a trend. Go to any private school at the end of a school day. Every woman in line will be driving a 70,000 Nissan suv (infinite) because it's so cool. In a world where everyone tries to be so different they all just want to be the same.

Got to admire an advertising campaign that sells industrial grade diamonds as a precious commodity. Of course the whole diamond thing being a precious gem is a DeBeers illusion. Diamond cartels are very smart and manipulate the market in several ways. For a very long time they have been sitting on vaults jammed full of diamonds to artificially inflate the market. Ever try selling a diamond back to a Jewler? The value only goes one way, Jewler to customer.

Diamonds are diamonds, but even in the artificially created/manipulated diamond market, browns are such garbage that they are considered industrial grade and used for saw blades and the like.
But since they are marketing/advertising geniuses, people are really stupid, and they have such tight control on the market, folks will buy the shite out of these "chocolate diamonds".

Yup. Once discarded, now making $$$ because someone extremely cleaver thought enough to give them a marketable name.

Trashy people buy all the jewelry seen on TV. My wife tells me never buy any jewelry they have to advertise on TV for.

CSB :
My brother was buying a diamond is st Thomas. Dripping a good bit of coin so they gave us free drinks. I got loaded and was telling people how these chocolate diamonds used to be only for industrial use. Got thrown out of the store for causing a scene

I always imagined that the wives of guys driving Jacked up F250s or Dodge Challengers/Chargers were sporting Chocolate Diamonds.
