Got to go to Brampton, ON in a week and just found out my passport's expired.

Yes. Brother almost got stuck in Canada when he forgot his passport. Got detained at the border for a couple hours.

Is this really where you are coming for international travel information? I'm sure that will hold up well at customs. Google it or check with the State Department.

Definitely less than 20 years ago. Last went to Toronto without one in 2001, IIRC.

How in the hell do you plan a trip NOT IN THE U.S. and not think at some point long before a week of leaving "hey, let me make sure my passport is current, it's been awhile"?????



Also...better hope you don't have any DUIs or you ain't going anywhere. Another poster was worried how his DUI would affect his Canadian trip. Wonder what happened with that.

Yes, unless you have one of those special Yankee licenses from the states that border Canada

Nah it was before 9/11. I needed one in 2000
