He'll still be here in the winter, just spending summers in ky and/or ny.

I prefer ky

Pretty sure she doesn't have kids.

she's there all the time with a small entourage. i honestly don't know what relationship there is here..maybe its one of her sister's kids. i don't actually talk to her, just see here quite a bit. maybe they belong to the guy she's dating..?

Lexington is cool as hell. Probably the 2nd most underrated .5MM to 1MM sized-city in America

I don't think it is quite that big. It is probably over 500,000 if you include the metro area. It is very underrated though. I go there a lot for work. They have great local restaurants and lots of talent around the campus.

Definitely understandable

Louisville offers a lot as far as amenities in dining, concerts, festivals, drinking, entertainment etc that Lexington can't, but for the outdoors, Lexington is probably much better.

I am on the fence. I am thinking about getting the Fark Board to add an Asian hooker to it for the update.

Louisville has its nice areas. It's a much bigger city than I initially thought it was. It's also been featured on The First 48 (any city featured on that show has its share of problems).

My sister did her residency at Louisville (oldest trauma program in the country and well regarded).

Almost all my time in Louisville has been spent at the grandparents, horse shows, or Churchill. I'm a very bad judge.

I miss lex like hell, though. Just decided to make a trip up in October.

It's about 1.4 million metro, about double the size of Lex metro, so it's really not fair to compare the two. It's like comparing New Orleans to Baton Rouge. Louisville is one of the largest metro areas in the country without a professional sports team, for instance, and is larger than some that do have them.

Lex very much revolves around UK socially and economically whereas Louisville has a much wider array of things going on.

West End of Louisville (part of which borders Churchill Downs, which is where I think some of those impressions come from) is pretty rough, but Louisville is less violent than national averages.

They're both, funnily enough, liberal as hell if you're in to that sort of thing. Lex has a gay mayor and the eastern half of Louisville (the nicer half) has one of the most liberal Congressmen in the House.
