When will they start charging for restaurant reservations?

You already need a credit card for many reservations and will be charged a $10/person no-show fee if you haven't cancelled and don't show up.

They need to start charging because of ADR hoarding. For example right now my TA has 4 different times booked for me for Tusker in November on the same day. When you try and reserve a dining time it will show no availability because 1000s of people are doing the same thing and doing it 180+10 days out.

I'm not the biggest Disney fan, but yall are acting like it's not the ideal vacation with kids. My kids prefer Disney over "seeing the world" on international trips. And I will bring in a delicious publix Italian sub instead of eating a crappy burger if I'm going to magic kingdom. I'm guessing the international travelers have never done an international flight with young kids.

Because I don't like paying premium hospitality money and my time to get in line to see plastic animatronic Tiki birds with a speaker in each of them playing a goofy song in a room full of pushy, stinky, frazzled folks?

Guilty as charged then.
In the Magic Tiki Room, Brer Fox with a $10 Turkey Leg.

For the same money and time I've been to Costa Rica and stayed at a premium resort and gone to the rain forest there to see real tropical birds and other fauna and flora.

Just because I call the spade a spade of the Disney "Experience", don't hate the messenger.

Sorry you're poor and can't afford more than your one trip in your life apparently. Some of us have actually gone to Disney AND other places in...... GASP......... the same calendar year.

I've been to 22 Countries so far on vacations on four continents.

You are shallow for incorrectly assuming, Goofy.

Aruba and Colombia are coming up this Winter for me.

It's not a small world, after all. EPCOT for you.

I'm sure. You're such a sophisticated world traveler yet feel the need to talk shite to people on a message board that like Disney.

Interesting places I've been to so far:

Skellig Michael
Orange Walk
Whistler
Quepos
The Big Island
Yakushima
Barbados
Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Verdun

I've passed within a couple miles of:
Disneyland
Disneyland Tokyo
Disneyland Paris
and not even thought of going in.

How about you? I've gone more fun places than you.

You are shallow to not even consider others don't share your affection for Disney.

I don't give a shite what you like. I would never tell you a place you enjoy is stupid. The world is too diverse for such asinine tunnel vision.

As for the answer to your question. After the Air Force put me through medical school they sent my family and I to 56 countries on 6 continents. I also spent 3 months researching with a pharm company in Antartica. We studied a specific glycoprotein found in Arctic fish that keeps them from freezing. But nothing too cool though.

The Signature Plus will also include additional perks such as parking and unlimited downloads of PhotoPass images such as the pictures taken on rides.

That's $200 in photos and parking that's included on the first visit and around $20-40 on parking each additional visit. Doesn't sound to bad to me unless the previous season pass also included these perks

I wish Disney World was $500 a day and you had to walk up 80 flights of stairs to get to the entrance. That would keep the trash/fatties out

Have you gone any of those places with kids? I've been plenty of places internationally and can't imagine taking kids on an international flight. 16 hours on an aircraft doesn't bode well with kids.

Traveling the world and sightseeing is great, however Disney offers a hands on experience. Disney transports you into a different world so you might as well be international. Also the level of customer service is unmatched unless I assume you are among the most rich Americans and stay at swanky hotels in Europe.

I believe the parking was included but photopass is new. If you go twice in a year the unlimited photopass makes it worth it in itself almost.

Most, you don't take a kid to Skellig Michael and a place like Verdun is not contextual for a kid.

A day cruise on the Rhine
Hiking in the Black Forest or Hawai'i or Japan
Surfing lessons
Skiing lessons
Deep sea fishing
Jeep trips
Horseback trips
Space Needle
La Brea (LA)
Grand Canton
Death Valley
New Grange/Stonehenge
Mayan Sites in the jungle
Cozumel mopeds
Ulm Münster to the top
Beatles Tour Liverpool
Dinosaur National Monument
Mauna Loa/ Mauna Kea
Whistler (Winter or Summer)

And (Full Disclosure) we've stayed about six times for a week each on the park at WDW. Grand Floridian. I dealt with it because it's a big deal for kids. I look at WDW travel like eating candy, and I just don't have much of a sweet-tooth. The lines. God. Fat, ugly, rude people in the parks. Fanny packs for males. Motorized strollers. I see why MJ rented the park DL after hours.

My kids flew well. Some kids don't.
