“Trail Rides” are the country equivalent to street racing. Total disregard for people’s property and laws in general.

That area around Hwy 61 and Port Hudson is country hood. Especially in the West side of 61.

I was driving north on 61 last night at around 7:30 and saw all the cars piled up along 61. Wife and kids wonder what's going on, I told them it was hood party and would end within another two hours when somebody started shooting.

Some do, but it's a lot of 4-wheelers, and trucks pulling trailers. It's a definitely not like an idyllic American cowboy trail ride.

That’s kind of what I was thinking when I heard trail ride. And I know that a lot of people in that area like riding horses.
