I knew Paulley Perette. Her family went to our church. She's plays the eccentric lab chick Abby on NCIS.

Not me personally, but my mom went to church with Archie Manning when she was young. My cousin was frat brothers with Tim McGraw at ULM and they lived right across the hall from each other for 3 years.

ETA: How could I forget, I played fball against Steven Ridley from 4-11th grade and used to hang out with him back when we were in high school.

I'm not sure how "famous" he is, but I went to school/played baseball with Detective Tim Cooper from The Bridge.

We're on Page 3 of this and I've still yet to see a famous person mentioned.

I'll bet we know the same people. A friend of mine was with Matt (former gee-tarist)whatever his name is this past weekend for the Mardi Gras ball in Mobile.

If you've ever seen a Michel Hingle commercial, you have heard my brother's voice.

I had a locker next to Danielle Scott my freshman year at HS. She was intimidating to a 13 yr old freshman.
But super nice.

I also knew Gary Plauche before March 16, 1984.

Would you accept Bob Pettit as famous?

I know him, but we didn't meet until well after he became famous. He's more of a local celebrity I would think.

Went to high school with Rod Dreher.

Went through ROTC and served many years in the Louisiana National Guard with Pat Simon (on air personality in Baton Rouge and longtime Shreveport anchorman).

A distant cousin was a Hollywood stuntman and one of the gorillas in the original Planet of the Apes.

I think that's about it.

College roommate is now a Billionaire.

He's not famous but if I listed what he owns, there are several very familiar names to the general public involved.

Two jets for his own use and a third in a fractional deal.

Basically, our families were close when she still lived in Houston. My sister was really close with Haylie, her older sister, who they moved out to Cali for. Still kept in contact even after she became Lizzie McGuire. Dated one of my best friends in HS and she would come home and party with us every now and then until they broke up.

Well, your friend is a lucky man.

She seems like one the good ones. Doesn't seem batshit crazy or stuck up about it. Could be wrong, though.
