A bunch of us laid in truck beds in the middle of a cow pasture while eating shrooms. Figured if the satellites were going to fall from the sky, it would be a cool show.

I was in Razoo waiting for the world to burn. I think everyone was at least a tiny bit disappointed in the lack of drama.

No but I have a nice propane stove for camping that my grandmother gave me after all of it was said and done.

She bought it with 5 cans of propane because she worried nothing would work after the clock flipped over.

I was on a small ish houseboat with a girl I had just started dating, I was 20 years old. There were 2 other couples there.

Those 3 girls were really fun!!!

Nope, just another night. I was surprised at how many people fell for the doomsday crap though.

I went to the Peach Bowl in ATL. New Years eve it was unknown if MARTA would be able to run after midnight. Cops were everywhere and on high alert. The only Y2K incident I witnessed was a drunk Clemson fan eating a sub sandwich in the Marta terminal. Cop told him no food allowed and to toss it in the trash. Clemson dude tried to stuff the whole sub in his mouth. Cop got pissed cuffed him up and took him to jail.

It's actually crazy to think that was 17 years ago.

Family had a huge party/get together, but as a previous poster wrote, that's just what we did for New Years Eve.

This one may have gotten a little more $$$ thrown at it, just in case it was the last one (this was a huge party) but it wasn't talked about as a Y2K party and none of us were hiding in a bunker when the clock flipped over.

Went to one.

We were watching midnight strike around the world and saying "You just KNOW New Orleans will be the first place in the world to screw this up".
