It seems like if this were really true it would have been a much bigger deal. There were the few headlines and links to scurrilous gossip/celebrity sites, but I don't believe that Cruise or any of his people confirmed this. I don't believe that a traditional news outlet confirmed this.

I feel like it's a big deal because he knows Scientology better than all but 4 or 5 people on the planet. He's invested the equivalent of hundreds of millions of dollars (factoring in his time and the damage it's done his career and personal life) into the religion.

Anybody else extremely interested in this story and in the horrors of Scientology in general? If Cruise really did leave and denounce Scientology it would be a devastating blow.

The last "legit" reports were from 3 weeks ago

I remember seeing that he was but then there was something about him doing a documentary for them. I think he was going to leave but they reeled him back in because they've got some bad shite on him.

Too bad he didn't leave before it ruined one of his marriages/families.

Maybe he'll eventually decide (when his box office career is over) to do it anyway. I think the goodwill he'd generate from effectively crushing that bullshite religion would more than offset any gay orgies he's allegedly participated in

I wonder if Scientology has a pic of him giving John Travolta a hummer.

not a coincidence this rumor started floating just as he had a new summer blockbuster hitting the theaters.

he'll leave scientology the same day caitlyn jenner gets that surgery.

I don't think that's the only thing because if it was, I think he would have left already.
