So I'm taking our annual family Halloween pics with the kids, parents, and in-laws. All of the sudden a suspect vehicle with a shady looking driver goes by. Five minutes later a chick with jorts, husband smoking a cig tatted up and a tribe of children. One kid looks 18 with bad makeup.

Don't know. Turned the lights off. Got no knocks.

Actually I thought the kids were pretty cool this year. They were respectful and said thank you. Didn't see many 'out of towners'.

I left the dogs roaming the house with my porch light on when I left for work.

They don't take kindly to visitors.

Ya know, I'm over it. It's one freakin night a year and all the people that came by were nice and polite regardless of appearance.

Yes, a few children from other neighborhoods came to mine so they could have a good time trick or treating in a safe environment. I'm sorry that bothers you. Let me guess... You consider yourself a "Christian"?

First year in Magnolia Wood sub, literally zero. Was expecting the worse, got nothing. I'm walking distance from the hood, BR surprises me sometimes.

Sucks for you.

The "riff raff" is what makes giving out candy fun.

Hi neighbor! We usually get a few kids who I suspect don't live in our neighborhood (judging by the parent's car trailing them), but they're usually dressed in costume and polite.

Very rarely (like once every few years) we've had some walking through the neighborhood on their way home from Kenilworth Middle School in their school uniforms.

I felt bad that we didn't give out candy or trick or treat in our neighborhood this year...we went to a friend's house instead so we turned off the lights

I had a girl that looked 14 or 15 that brought an extra bag for her baby.

I'm glad we get kids from other neighborhoods. There's only one kid on our block and his parents always walk him right by my house while giving me frightened glances.

I never understood this. Babies can't eat candy. Quit being greedy.

Also, use protection.

We had transplants of both types. Only odd one was a 40+ year old lady with a shower cap on holding a walmarks bag asking for candy.
