I know there were a couple shootings and stabbings in Houma, Northshore, Mobile, a few other places.

But I’m drawing a blank.

I heard something happened in Nola after Mardi Gras was over, but I don’t think that counts

3 wounded in French Quarter shooting last night doesn’t count?

A 5 year old was shot in the foot yesterday

4 men shot dead in separate shootings last week

Just a quick return on google search for “New Orleans shootings”

Wasn’t there one Friday night in the quarter?

None on the routes in the city

It’s amazing what an increased police presence can do.

Nope Mardi Gras needed at midnight.

Ironically it was probably someone that was on Bourbon when the cops walked down and kicked everyone out of the middle of Bourbon street at midnight.

They were everywhere along the route.

But the quarter had several shootings. I think one Thursday night/Friday morning, another Friday night/Saturday morning, and the one on Canal right after the clock struct midnight on Ash Wednesday.

Oh ok, that makes sense.

Drink & party on Bourbon Street all day & night, but the shooting at 12:32 is definitely not related

Didn’t they find someone shot to death in the quarter over the weekend? Like a block or two from Jackson Square?
