I just reviewed the video again and noticed that the 3rd shot heard seems different from the rest of the shots. The two police officers carried the same weapon that would have sounded the same. In my opinion, the 3rd shot heard is noticeably different in sound -- it doesn't sound like as large a caliber gun. If true, Sterling had his hand on the gun as the officers said and fired a shot through his pockets. Link is below. Thoughts?? If so, that totally vindicates the officers.

This is one of those facts that will be relatively easy to prove during the investigation.

I think we would've heard about this by now if it were the case.

I'd have to imagine this would have been leaked from the investigation if it happened, so despite how things look/sound on the video, I don't think Sterling fired a shot.

Maybe so, but it sure sounds different.

Why do you think the cops are carrying the same piece?

I'm no gun expert, but I don't notice a considerable difference in sound. Plus, pretty sure this would have been reported by now.

Hey man, maybe you should listen to the enlightened BLM leaders and Al Sharpton and all of them. They said it was his second amendment right to conceal carry that gun, even though he was a convicted felon. While preaching to his congregation, Sharpton even went as far as saying Sterling's gun rights aren't being defended because it's the "white man's second amendment."

Shame on you Jimmy!

youre an idiot if you think that after all this fricking blowback, they would have released this information. There is zero reason to NOT release it. They arent looking for a perp that could benefit from knowledge of the case, its 2 cops that shot a guy that is currently dead...... No, he didnt fricking shoot his gun. No his hand wasnt on it. Regardless, he fricking refused to comply with officers when they were there because he pointed a gun at someone. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Dumbass died for a reason and I dont feel sorry for anyone involved.

ETA: Except the officers that are being fist fricked by the black community. I definitely feel sorry for what they are having to deal with in the aftermath of doing their best not to die while still doing their job.

I find that to be highly unlikely. It would be easily verifiable and certainly the authorities would have mentioned it given the social unrest that the incident has caused. There would be a bullet hole and gunpowder residue in Sterlings pocket along with a spent shell casing from the shot. The assumption must be that Sterling did NOT fire the gun unless otherwise indicated by the authorities.

Yet wouldn't make one bit of difference to the north BR community.

Not even the two officers who are under constant death threats and had to move away under cover of darkness with police escorts?

I seriously doubt he fired, but the officers did everything legally anyway.
