Holy shite this is like the fourth electrical storm we've had this week in Dallas. Not only did I blow surge protectors at home but we lost an entire lab at work.

Totally over it.

Anyone else loving this weather?

I had to ship my bose control box for replacement. On top of pretty much all my network equipment and cable boxes. Luckily I didn't lose the television.

I'd rather a downpour than this shite.

If only you didn't have to be in Houston to enjoy it.

Zing!

Baton Rouge area flooded last year. Thousands lost everything they own. Sorry to hear about your surge protector and work lab though. If you set up a gofundme page I'll donate to replace your surge protector

DALLAS MICROBURST VIDEO

You mean like this?

I live on the Tarrant-Denton county line, had one go through this week raising all sorts of Hell over Ft Worth but never got to us, slid off to the east, may or may not have been this one, not even sure I have been rained on all week.

I live by the DNT and Bush off of Frankford and we've had pretty bad weather about three times this week. The office in Las Colinas was hit hard and I've spent much of the past three days trying to get that lab back online to actually do work.

It's more of a nuisance than anything. We really haven't had to deal with much in terms of bad weather outside of a few downpours in the past month or so. Guess it's our turn.

Dry and hot in central Texas. You assholes in dallas always hoard the rain.

Two weeks ago was a tropical storm the size of north Texas for fricks sake and we didn't get a single drop. Just some clouds for about an hour or so.

Are you closer to Austin or Waco?

I thought Austin got some pretty good rain the other week.

Austin and not really.

Thought about starting a thread. A 200 mile wide storm was headed right for us and it wasn't even a spec on the radar once it reached south of round rock

Damn that sucks. It's been a mild summer so far here until this week where we started staying in the 90's.

I have a bud that lives in Bee Cave. Round Rock is nice.
