My son has cerebral palsy and is non-verbal and uses an ipad with a program called touchchat on it that he uses to communicate.

That was he could keep it in his pocket wherever he goes.

Make a new "note" with common phrases.



ETA: I would wager that iTouch has similar functionality and you can get one pretty cheap.
