Didn't Dufrense's case get settled a couple of months ago? I thought I read that got about a year of home confinement, has to complete some counseling and about five years of probation.
The younger girl, Respess(sp?), still has to go to trial (or accept a plea agreement). Nothing has settled for either in Kenner/JP. (I'm not even sure if either of them were even charged in JP.)
Edit: D'OH! Couldn't get the link to open when I first tried, so I just replied. Have since read the article and see that they've been charged in Jefferson.
