Considering a lot of women are losers and usually just sit at home complaining how there are no men, it works out. They don't have to put any effort into it.

You should be ashamed of yourself if you use these apps/websites

I couldn't disagree more. It's just a natural progression of human interaction. Now we can cast an even wider net and not limit the dating pool to just what is around us in that very moment.

Your deliver is dumb as frick, but your not wrong. This was kinda the topic of my Master's thesis. I hypothesized that over reliance on social media as a means of communication lead to increased symptoms of social anxiety, and I found significant results supporting it. So... I guess have an upvote?

It's all the rage now. Not too long ago, it was social suicide to admit you were a part of the online dating scenes. It was (and should be) reserved for the most desperate situations.

Agreed. In the ~3 years I've been dating my SO, Tinder has gone from being used by one creep who would actually meet people and a bunch of girls looking for a self esteem boost to where it is now with people who met on tinder getting fricking engaged.

Only two rules for online dating:
1) Be attractive and tall.
2) Don't be unattractive and "short" (less than 6').

That's it in a nutshell. I'm 5'9" and average looking...so I'm fricked.

I can think of at least three guys shorter than you who married OT 9s. None of them are rich and none of them are guys I wish I looked like. There's hope.

Meh, who's to say what is the right way to do things? People can meet the old fashioned way, date, live together for 5 years, get married and get divorced inside of 2 years.

Unless you're not who you say you are, you have to fricking approach the girl. It just cuts down on the search time required.

Dumb post is very dumb.

I think you are confusing this with convenience. Most of us still have the ability to get girls the old fashioned way, but you can literally talk to tons of them without leaving your couch. Why wouldn't people try that?

I guess that's true. I'm just more astounded by the big change in a few short years. The main couple I know who met through Tinder seems to be into each other. They've actually been married a year. It really doesn't make that big of a difference past the first interaction really. If you're using it to set up in person dates instead of just trying to form a bunch of internet relationships.

I agree in principle, though dating apps are fine as a supplement, but not your main source of interaction with women

If you dont know how to talk to women and game them in person, you definitely wont succeed with online dating apps

My online game sucks.

Or just trying to frick. Really makes no difference what platform you use, it's all about intentions. Now I will say, the internet definitely makes a FWB type thing more prevalent, but on the same end, those looking for something more are more apt to find a girl they connect with easier than just happening on them randomly.

The only explanation is that they must have large wieners.

its the greatest thing in the world.

I live in a rural area. mountains surround me.

You can't even get here without driving a harrowing mountain road on which people DIE, nearly every day. (somewhat a function of people driving on drugs).
people commute from here to population centers. they leave before the crack of dawn and drive like maniacs instead of leaving 15 minutes extra.

I have had a few nice relationships with women I found on the internet. You still have to be a mensch once you get to the coffee shop.
