So this stupid frick was the the Liberians's apartment, started feeling sick a week later and thought "I don't need to go to the ER or Dallas Pres where they've been handling Ebola. I'll just walk into this urgent care clinic"

Dumbasses like this are going to be what causes this to spread

Well, it IS flu season. And, we've been told that as long as we don't frick monkeys, bats, or have butt sex with someone who has Ebola AND is symptomatic, you WON'T contract it. Why should he have thought it was Ebola?

It's a remain calm tactic, could you imagine the shite show that would transpire if they announced on the national news that Ebola can be contracted by simply touching the same door knob as an infected individual? The country would shut down. Stocks would plummet, it would be a nightmare.

has contraflow started yet?

And how many of the Dallas refugees who come spilling out of there into the rest of the country already have it and don't know yet? Don't let Uncle Bill crash at your crib, dude.

Maybe it doesn't need bodily fluids and maybe this alleged "fact" that you must be symptomatic to transmit isn't so factual

Except the "fact" that the cop didn't come in contact with him or his stuff until after he was symptomatic.

Idiot. This is basic fricking science.

Well once is based on science and the other is an opinion from a company pr department

My question was where did you hear this purported scientific fact not what it was based upon.

I doubt this deputy was swapping spit with the patient zero but we're also told it can only be transmitted by bodily fluids.

Hanging out in the Liberian's apartment last week should have been his first clue

Yeah, but we've been told from the very beginning that a person with Ebola could sneeze on you in a crowded airplane and you won't catch it.

I highly doubt this cop went in there and started cutting himself and licked toilet seats while he was in there.

I thought all cops were knuckle-dragging retards? How do we expect this guy to suddenly become a MENSA member?

He probably never made the connection between his symptoms and being at the home of the #1 US news story for the past 2 weeks
