I agree with the tactics in principle. However my dad only had to open hand slap me on a couple of occasions to deliver the same message. The rest of that arse whipping was unnecessary.

That's the way I understood it too.

I dont think thats what he was saying at all.
He said verbatim, "I already told him he can get up an walk out the class, because the teacher is a "inaudible", but I told him that he need to call me and let me know if he do, so that I can be on his side."
The above was from memory, went back and relistened typed it out, exact statement is below
quote:
"Today, he walked out the teachers class, and granted I know the teachers fricked up, so I let him know, he can walk out of class, but call me so I'm on your side"

Yes. Granted what he said could be construed multiple ways, but I just watched again and effectively what he said, in my opinion is:
My son walked about of class and, while I know teachers can be dipshits, he needs to call me and inform me of the situation so I can be there to defend him.
Your assertion also seems off base because during the arse whooping he chastises the kid for mouthing off to the teacher and acting up to impress his friends and girls. He says that very plainly. At no point did he say "you gonna call me next time".
Given all this, its pretty clear to me where he was coming from but your opinion may be different.

The kid probably gets in trouble all the time and pops had enough of it to beat him up like that. The school is going to call the police and social services.

Im kind of conflicted. Its obviously over the top, but goddamn it sometimes you just need to get your arse whooped and at 17 that kid is facing a critical junction.

He should at least get the kid some head gear. That broken nose is going to cause that kid a lot of trouble in his life. I know from experience.

I'm all for it, but keep it in the house don't post it.

It's bullshite by a bullshite wimp of s man.
He oked his din to disrespect a teacher and walk out, but beat his son for not calling him? Mixed signals much?
He is a giant piece of monkey shite Dad, hopefully the kid just gets away from that pile of garbage while he has a chance.
It isn't about respect for others, it's about kissing Pops arse so OL Dad can feel in charge of that one piece of his pathetic life

quote:no he won't, he will walk out on his "unfair" employer cause he is being tough on him. The good news is he wil have his unemployed father to get home to do he can stroke old mans ego
He probably took it too far by putting it online but if the dad is a respectable guy (and it seems like he is) then this kid will grow up to be a stand up young man.
quote:. Yeah, this lil douche will learn that if is tough, just walk out.
Our society has too many pussy parents that tell their kids the world revolves around them and that everything will be handed to them.
You guys are nuts

Dudes technique sucks. He hangs the left the left like Adrian Broner when he is showing off against a subpar opponent. The right was pretty quick though.
The kid had is own gloves so I'm sure it wasn't the first time they tangled. I bet he doesn't skip class again.

i dont see anything wrong with this. judging by the house they are in the dad is providing for his family and doesnt want his son to be a frick up

If it isn't tge first time they fought, it didn't stop him from being a shithead this time.
No, I'd imagine this is one of the few times he even sees his Dad, Dad is one of those life failures that thinks two minutes of tough love will change a lifetime of not parenting...

As much as that kid was dominated, I can't help but think that kid could beat me in a fight. That was really shitty parenting though. Kid is going to think that violence and dominance is how you handle conflict resolution.
Not to mention its abuse.

What a piece of shite. I hope he gets his arse worked when he ends up in jail for this shite
Standing there and continually punching someone you outweigh by 100lbs is shitty
fricking loved it...more young men, especially young black men, need dads like that. Lot of problems get solved when you know the consequences of causing those problems is/are tangible.

Takes a hell of a man to punch his kid in the face. So teach him violence, just brilliant
Why not sit ur kid down and study with him, help him learn, teach him u get what u put into school/life
Pathetic

quote:Better his dad leave him covered in blood than a cop leaving him covered in blood
All you people supporting this are delusional. If you watch until the end and see the kid standing there covered in blood and you still praise the dad, you're a fricked up individual.

That was abuse plain and simple. Breaking your kids nose is not "tough love". If I'm the kid the next time I have an issue with a authority figure I'll put on my gloves and work it out like my dad taught me. POS.
