Cyclist shot on Bullard video included...weird came out of nowhere

Crazy you see the whole thing but there is no person or vehicle in the periphery that shows where the bullet came from.
Theories?
I'm wondering if it wasn't one of those falling bullets coming from someone that fired up in the air from a distance away from where this guy was.

I see absolutely no reason anyone would ride a bicycle for fun on Bullard Avenue. The vests say they're from Kerrville, TX. I have spent time in Kerrville, TX and can state without question that Bullard Avenue is a third world country compared to Kerrville.

The article says the black and white truck has been ruled out and it was not a BB or pellet gun.

I mean, I suppose you could get shot anywhere in New Orleans, but I don't even like to drive in New Orleans East. People should be able to ride their bikes anywhere without fear of being shot, but NO East would be one of my last choices. Plus nobody ever seems to hear or see anything in NO East, that's why they're always finding bodies over there.
