It's not $120 a month.

It's $120 cheaper than what we were paying with Cox.

We have

5 HD Dvr boxes, whole home equivalent.

2 are wireless

Every single channel possible.

+internet

The total bill is like $180 ish/month

Mine is supposed to be 180ish but somehow its 240 or so after its all said and done. I have Uverse U450 and 18 mbps internet which is their best in my area. The internet sucks arse (mostly because I have a large family and too much strain on wireless network). I have 6 boxes, 1 is a DVR but its a whole-home dvr so all the boxes can access it. Not sure why you need 5. Anyway sounds like we're paying close to the same I guess.

I recently called Charter and I can get same channels/boxes/DVR/etc and 30 mbps internet for $117/month. That also includes the wireless router which is supposedly very good one. Then it goes up $5 more for 2nd year. Only difference is DVR is only for one tv, cant access from other rooms. No biggie. I think I'm switching.

Yeah, I actually have 1 dvr, whole home like you.

18mbps internet as well.

Only time I notice internet issue is when I stream netflix through my panasonic tv. I think it's the tv though, cause when I use macbook and chromecast it's fine.

I'm very happy with Uverse. But also I just had the Cox shaft pulled out of my arse, so it may be that

on changing, FWIW, I have heard some rumors and such that AT&T has run fiber throughout BR, just working out details with city on dropping line to house from street. At that point we should have best of everything by far.
