Cox internet in New Orleans is suddenly godawful

Is Uverse available in many places uptown? I just moved into an apt on Camp and AT&T only had internet available. It's a bullshite monopoly.

Att is just as bad or worse than cox.

I've never had issues with uverse. I used to always have slow or interrupted service with Cox.

Ever since I got the modem/wireless router combo from Cox I haven't had any problems.

Works here very well 95% of the time. I hate Cox but stick with there internet because of the speed.

Stay far away from u verse. It took an entire year to get them to stop billing me for after I moved out of Houston. It was unreal

Same thing happened with my gamgam. They kept charging her even after her calling them repeatedly after she switched to Cox. I think she ended up only getting about 75% of the overcharge refunded. Gave up on the rest.

I had my credit card removed from the system after the first month and would just receive bills rolled over every month. I have never experienced such stupidity with such s large company: it was like pulling teeth to explain I had not lived at in Houston for twelve straight months.

In fact, when I first moved in, the internet sucked and they sent a guy out. It still sucked. They sent another guy out and he said the first guy was a lazy POS because the connections were bad and it was clear they were bad. He replaced them and BOOM. Solid internet for 8 years.
I hate their pricing but they have me for the internet for life. I've heard nothing but bad things about all other options.
