Actually with the amount of prolonged oppression and violence done to black people, is expect the evidence to be worse if this study was run. I doubt it would be because it would finally give black slave descendants credible legal ground to sue the federal govt . Let me find the link

That's not reparations -- -again the biggest abusers of AA are WHITE WOMEN.

Name me something specific that only BLACK SLAVES got. Not other stuff we say we're for blacks but whites got a hand in too

Properly compensate them for their hardships. We never have and continually find ways not to/make their situations worse upon their self defeating habits.

We never did. It's a true American shame quite honestly. Especially because we paid off everyone else

Goya (i cannot believe i am entertaining this asshat with a response),

it is the very gifts (yes reparations/welfare systems/etc.) that actually hurt the lowly (no matter color). in this country, you can always become more than your parents. If you are not afraid to work for it. We cannot all become the top 1%, but each generation has the ability, through hard work and sacrifice, to be in a better position than their parent(s).

After years of hand outs, this has become expected. The drive for self-improvement is all but lost in far too many people these days. Example: following katrina, there were protests against the demolition of some public housing projects. the reason stated on the local news was, "...my family has been here for generations, and they are taking it away from us." Public housing was intended to be short term assistance. Until you were able to financially move on. Yet too many are "owed" that housing. My reply to those types....FU.

All of these gifts should have time limits on them. Unless you are truly incapable to fend for yourself. Then the gov't should step in to help. But the poeple that truly need help, that is a very short list compared to the people that take advantage of the "system" now.

I cannot believe I just spent my time typing this.....I have to go back to work.....

But you're appropriating all inclusive aid systems to a distinct group of people that have suffered hardships that make them exceptional.

That's not fair, that's not just, and it's not right. Sure u can save yeah we gave em welfare, AA, but why are they getting aid that people that haven't suffered their oppression use and abuse at a higher number than them.

I'm awaiting an answer for why they have not receive specific compensation for their direct suffering. Reparations were intended for Anglo-Saxons. So if welfare is one, why are they the largest Receiving group of these benefits.

You're glossing over the mistakes (which contribute to the present) and focusing on the future. Fare, but how do I find my way out of a grave / ditch if all I can see is the sky ?

That white people in large part put in office. Tokens aren't presidents.

Again, what have black slave descendants received that was exclusively a payment for their suffering?

Nothing. And there is no legitimate explanation for it besides racism.

Not like there isn't money; the Feds just passed out $3.4B to native Americans in 2012

I'm specifically talking about the suffering and oppression of black peoples which has an unique history that poor whites don't have strictly because of color. Which sadly plays a HUGE role in the difference. But Many of the present day hardships of poor whites correlate with the hardships of poor minorities

As long as you keep racially segregating yourselves from everyone else no one will give a care about your cause. When it becomes about everyone, then things will begin to change and support will be gained.
Sure there have been some innocent black people killed by police, but it doesn't help anyone's cause when the ones that black people have chosen to martyr have been thugs.
What is happening now is doing nothing more than driving a wedge further into racial relations.

Why is that that everyone wants to feel like they have the same issues? Different groups, different histories. That's logically dishonest. Why do blacks have to get there equality as everyone else does? Didn't happen for other groups.

Equality under the law protects thugs too. Your moral code doesn't but the law does too. The law doesn't say thugs should die more than I.

There's only 2 sides to race relations because whites are reluctant to do what's right? How can the ruling class nosociopathically claim grievances against its oppressed group? That's insane
