I would say that Bama fans would defend their university like their sister's peehole but that would not be true.

Then is LSU the next Baylor...

The U.S. Department of Education is investigating Louisiana State University's handling of rape and sexual assault cases, WVUE Fox 8 reports.

The report says 16 rapes were reported to an LSU campus advocacy group last year, but some victims say the process grinds to a halt there and that university does little to protect them or punish perpetrators.

One former female LSU student -- whose identity was protected in the report -- told Fox 8 she was raped shortly after graduation last August by a male student at an off-campus apartment.

The woman, who went through sexual assault training while working as a resident assistant, reported the rape to the university and sought to have the male student removed from the campus, where the victim's sister was still attending school.

The report says LSU did little to help the woman, despite repeated interviews and an investigation into the incident.

Federal investigators are looking into whether LSU failed to promptly respond to a separate March 2015 complaint from a female student who reported she raped by a former student in her dorm room.

Former student gets raped off campus and reports to the university? Sounds like she should have went to the BR police Dept.

All 16 rapes?

The report says 16 rapes were reported to an LSU campus advocacy group last year, but some victims say the process grinds to a halt there and that university does little to protect them or punish perpetrators.

If you are talking about the holding by the Bama OL I'd agree with you, that's rape!

Rape cases are very difficult to prosecute, for many reasons. It's hard to even have enough evidence...

There's no easy way around rape cases. Most of BuzzFeed's solutions involve no solid evidence, or reduce rape to how the victim feels afterwards.

Saban didn't cover up a rape ring conducted by football players. Plus, how can anyone prove that Saban had any knowledge of the rape?

He probably didn't but a rapist did pay for his house
