Could someone explain where the cards went?

He dropped them behind the table

In his left sleeve.
The right hand is just moving to distract you while the left hand it looks like it's doing the actual work.

Or it's real magic

A) he only has 2 cards, keeps re-using the same top card over and over. It never leaves his left hand outside of the first "flip". He just smoothly outs it back on top of the other card, and he does the movement so quickly and accurate it's hard to see.

B) He makes the 2 cards disappear. His arms block a lot of space, so pulling off a slick one would not be hard. They're probably on the back of his left hand.

Edit: scratch that, he dropped both cards like everyone else said.

He's got a good palm going but a little sloppy with the rack at the end where he dumps the cards
