We need to do what the Brazilians do, they usually shoot a thief in both hands or a leg, if they're lucky they get to grab a hot muffler or have their bones broken instead.

I am fine with that if you catch them. But to set a trap, I want everyone to know they are a thief.

Well that's fun, but there could be some mixups.

Yesterday it was 9 my neighbor still had a couple packages on their porch step. Wasn't sure if they were out of town or what, told my wife we would grab them for them and leave a note if they weren't home by when we got back.

Nicer neighborhood so a certain racial demographic is known to come through and steal from cars etc

There was a story on the news last week that a guy that got ripped off a bunch of times had fixed up a package. Got one of those USPS express boxes, fill it with dog shite and placed it on his door step. Sure as shite, some assbag stole it.

That's great! I can't believe how brazen these package thieves are to do this in broad daylight. If I put a package out like your friend did, I would put a fake name and the address of the local police station on the address label in case the thieves wanted to get some revenge.
