after taking the market by storm a couple of months ago and getting great reviews, I noticed the balls weren't on there website anymore a couple of days ago.

Did a quick google and found this article.

The word on the street is the manufacturer was pressured by the big boys to stop making them.

I wonder how much Titleist paid them to quit producing those balls

What pressure could golf companies apply to Costco outside of bribery?

Costco wasn't manufacturing it. Nassau was, and they probably have more interest in keeping their longtime customers happy than Costco.

The plant that made the Costco balls also makes balls for some big companies.

Same thing happened to Wheaties ofF brand. Kroger's carried it. It was great and always sold out. Next thing you know its gone. It's the only knock off in the cereal aisle you can't get...

I asked em about it. They said the company that made them for em quit supplying them. Guy said it was probably pressure for waaaayyyy overpriced Wheaties
