Cost to frame and pour 660 sq/ft Concrete

Last year. I believe it was July. Or August. There's a knock on the door. I open it, and there's this rugged looking construction worker standing at my door. And he says to me, "how would you like me to frame and pour some concrete for you"

And I said "Well, how many square feet do you have?" He said "I've got 500 square feet, 600 square feet, 700 square feet".

I said "we'll take 660 square feet framed and poured. How much will that be?"

And that construction worker, he looks at me and she says, "...Uh I need about tree-fitty."

Well, it was about that time that I notice that the construction worker was about eight stories tall and was a crustacean from the protozoic era.

I said, "Dammit monster! Get off my lawn! I ain't giving you no tree-fitty!"

It said, "how about just two-fitty?" I said, "Oh, now it's only two-fitty!! What?! Is there a sale on Loch Ness munchies or something?!"

Damn right I was angry.

*(660 x depth (ft))/27 = cubic yds
*Figure footings same as above (deeper)
*Add load bearing areas (heavy machinery/crane/et.al.) to concrete/rebar calculation
*Add reinforcement (rebar)
*cubic yds x $/yd = cost of concrete
*add finishing/sqft
NOTE: Always add 1/2 yd fudge factor for concrete quantity

$5/sq. ft. and you shouldn't have to touch a thing

Concrete in the known world of 2016 is at least 1.5 to 2.0 times that cost per cubic yard.

Maybe in rural Honduras $60/yd might be a good number today.
