I love wearing thick, wide wale corduroy pants in the winter time. I hate wearing jeans, so corduroy and moleskin pants take the place of jeans when it is too cold to wear khakis.

My favorite are Brooks Brothers:

Nah. He could have fit there though. I won't say where he went, but it was random as hell.

same...they are not stylish, but are so much warmer than my normal pants, that I will put them on during exceptionally cold weather...

I don't see anything wrong with a good fitting, fine wale pair of cords. Just like chino's except more comfortable and casual.

I wear them all the time...far more likely to wear corduroy pants in cool weather than jeans.

I have a couple pairs from J. Crew that are easy to wear and look good, but I hardly ever wear them.

in the North, people wear them in winter.

Today there is a blizzard in Chicago. They are getting 12 to 14" of new snow and wind.

Similar weather tomorrow for the eastern lakes, all the way to New England by Tuesday.

Lots of corduroys in action, Monday morning for the commuters.
