The scrawny ones are oftentimes the strongest.
I wouldn't recommend trying to solve an altercation with a female of her stature.

That's quite the operation they got going on there. Make students listen to boring teachers. If they try to look at their phone, take it from them and make them pay you. If things get difficult, bring in the cops to rough them up some.
Spot on.
Once you wake up and realize what a sham the public school system is, well, then you realize it.

The only thing trashier than not sending your kids to an idevice school is subtly bragging about sending your to an idevice school.

Whoever wrote that article sounds like they should still be in HS

WOW...WTF? How about simply put her in the office, contact her parents (she was on the phone with her mother for chrissakes!) and have them pick her up from school? No frickING reason to make a non-violent violation of school policy turn into a law enforcement issue. Pussy-arse school administrators.

OH! Very good catch! This may give a little insight as to what kind of a child they were dealing with.
From the comedy tour, it goes something like this: I don't know how many (cops) it was going take to whip my arse but I know how many they were going to use.

Considering where that school is located, those kids will be above average in their neighborhood if they can read and write standard English.

Did you ever wonder why they have those "Texas school district police officers". Maybe, just maybe that is an indication as to what kind of kids they were dealing with. Afterall, this had already gone through a teacher and assistant principle.

Read it over again. Take remedial reading with her.

Read school policy over again. Lil bitch knew in advance.

I agree. Maybe she will rethink her actions and act accordingly in the future. At which point teachers can teach and cops can issue tickets to the general public and kill their dogs.

I teach high school students in Ebr. Most of my students have reading levels of either 5th or 6th grade students. They do study literature, but it becomes more difficult every year as students seem to fall further behind each year.

So now students are only supposed to follow the rules if they want to? Girl got what was coming to her.

How much does this school suck when it has to call the cops on a girl?
If a teacher so much as touches a kid in school they get sued. How do you propose handling a kid that you can't touch and that refuses to follow instructions? It sounds like the school did the only think it could legally do.

For being on the phone with her sick mother? Mom trumps teacher or school administrator every time.

Good point.
It is crazy that many students in high school can't read higher than a 5th grade level.

I feel safer.
A 15 - 16 year old teenage girl with a cell phone, driving, is as dangerous an animal you will encounter in the wild.
