Lots of black smoke rolling up.

ETA: from my vantage point it’s hard to tell. May just be one of the crack houses near there.

Where is Copolymer Baton Rouge?

Lion Copolymer in Geismar? Or East West Copolymer near Exxon?

Really any other information at all? Lol

Well yeah.. If there isn’t a wreck on the MS river bridge, or an 18 wheeler on fire on the Atchafalaya, there’s gotta be a plant on fire

That plant has been closed for a while now.

Since it moved to Geismar. Unless it’s not in Geismar, then it’s not in Geismar.

Bunch of black smoke coming from residential area adjacent to 110 south of airport about 30 min ago. Fire trucks responding. Couldn’t tell what exactly was burning when I passed but I assumed a house.

Lion in Geismar is very much operating.

East West in BR has been closed for a few years and the facility has been decommissioned. Exxon owns the property now but there is no equipment on site
