Why is this not the case for Police K9's?

Not once, but twice did you go out of your way to make your point based on one picture of this dog from 3 years ago when it was a puppy. The picture doesn't mean a damn thing you tard.

I bet you still believe Trayvon was 72 lb 10 year old too

I'm guessing you never sprayed mace in a dog's face. I'm guessing you never got close enough to a pissed off dog to attempt to taser it. Rover would eat your arse and it may take a while for you to resort to a gun. If the dog becomes aggressive just shoot the m'fukker. There are plenty on death row. Just go get one to replace the dead one.

In the 50s, 60s, and 70s kids delivered your newspaper on bicycles, your mailman walked his route, leash laws were seldom enforced, and everyother house had a dog lying in the driveway, yet the news was not filled with reports of people being attacked and mauled. Society today is populated with wusses that have irrational fears.

Huh? Charges have been filed when Police K9's are shot and/or killed by a criminal. So, people aren't really "moving on" then, are they?

I understand. Which is all the more reason he didn't need to play barney fife in the carport first.

How do you know the dog's actions based on any story presented so far? The cop's word is all we have. Not even a history on the dog.

The cop clearly didn't go to the front door as the guy in the house would have come to the door. He may have been threatened, I'm simply questioning his approach to the situation responding to a call 15-20 minutes later.

The homeowners can file suit. Get a report written and file civil and criminal suits.

Cop shoots dog = 5 pages and counting in 30 minutes

Cop shoots human after getting stabbed = barely 4 pages in 5 hours.

The dog is the family pet, allowed to hangout in the front yard, has never bitten or threatened anyone...

Unfortunately there is most likely nothing they can do! Some people are just cruel.

You don't know LEO protocol?? They start at closest part of house. They have no idea who is inside of any part of house.

He should have killed the cop and told first responders that he felt his life was threatened.........self defense.

The OP lives next door to the family...going to say he's had more interactions with the family and the dog than any news reporter.
