Kind of misleading. The cop was shot after a traffic stop, which can happen any time a cop stops someone.
The title made it sound like a random cop was shot while just minding his/her own business.

123 law enforcement officers were killed in 2015. The pace of this week far outweighs that number. You want to be an a-hole and complain.

After giving the loser a ticket, the cop was walking back to his patrol car, when the POS then got out and fired shots at the Police Officer, striking him 1time in the neck.
He is in critical but stable condition.
