Cops being trashy dickheads. I'm shocked.

The cop was a hundred percent wrong in this case. He should be fired. I still can't imagine what the cop's were doing there and what they hoped to accomplish. Harassment is all I can think of.

I'm personally not going to go all loud capping to a cop just because he's beyond he's authority but that cop needs to be retrained or assigned to a desk.. he took that situation to the point where I was waiting for guns to be drawn and used

All drug enforcement is is revenue collection.
Recently had some major CJ reform locally. The cops were tipped off about a major drug problem in a "flop house" type hotel and they showed up yesterday to do something about it. People expected a raid, instead....
quote:
JPD's outreach at the Bergman Hotel today was successful, including in some unexpected ways. In the approximately 45 room hotel, only 13 apartments were rented because of renovations and evictions. Of the tenants in those apartments almost all were willing to talk to JPD officers and Alaska State Troopers, who provided needed assistance and staffing.
The employment counselor saw two people. Seven people sought physical health services and six people met with mental health professionals. Some tenants sought multiple services. One mother said her son needed non-emergency medical services. A staff member of Public Health arranged for an appointment and bus tokens so the child could receive care on Monday.
While no tenant agreed to substance abuse counseling by NCADD, the staff at the Bergman asked for multiple sharps containers to try and clean up that area, asked for and received 10 Narcan kits to potentially save people overdosing with NCADD providing on the spot training to staff and officers who were still at the hotel.
The Bergman staff also wanted educational materials to encourage people to stop using substances and seek treatment. NCADD provided those. One Bergman employee, Brianna McCourt, says she is in recovery for a second time and has been clean and sober since July 22, 2016. McCourt says she worked her guardian angels overtime during her addiction and wants to save people who are overdosing and support them in getting off drugs. JPD would like to send out a big "Way To Go" to Brianna.
Michael Hutcherson of Job Service provided employment services from JPD's Mobil Incident Command Post. April Rezendes of Public Health worked with Doug Harris of JAHMI to provide services. JPD would like to thank Holy Trinity Church for providing meeting rooms at no cost. Chelsi Butler of NCADD provides training and supplies to Brianna McCourt, an employee of the Bergman Hotel.
JPD and the AST showed up with mental health, job and drug counselors.
Only certain felonies, usually with violence will require prison time now. All others including drug crimes will use alternative sentencing.

The home owner handled it like he should have up to the point of "bye". He told the cop to go get a warrant and the cop was leaving and then he felt the need to follow the cop outside and continue to berate him. I don't know if he thought he could just run his mouth and not get a response, or if he was trying to get that reaction but this is what caused things to go south. It would have never happened had the homeowner just saw them off the property and not tried poking at the cop.
And of course Tangerine would have a misleading title

quote:That's the crux of law enforcement. 98% of cops are below avg intelligence, and I've reminded several cops of that very fact when they've needed to be reminded.
The people that did better in school would take their jobs leaving them with even lesser paying jobs.

Prepare thy anus and don't sign anything no matter what. If they have no warrant you can hand them a kilo of coke and say "here" and as long as you do not sign over your rights they cannot admit it in court.
That's how it SHOULD work, but I wouldn't try it.

Hard to tell if he hates white folks or cops the worst.

Cop aggressively accused the man of being into meth becsuse "I know your brother is"
BOOM!
ANd he was reprimanded by the po-po, but they refused to release his name. But someone found out who he is.
quote:
With a little internet sleuthing and a few tips from locals, we were able to connect the dots between Wood’s brother’s Facebook page to his mother’s Facebook page where she had pictures posted of her sons despite the fact that department refused to release his name. But we sat on that information for a day because we wanted to give the Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress a chance to confirm his detective’s name over a telephone conversation, which he had refused to do since a video of the incident went viral last week. Surprisingly, he did just that.

Cops showed up armed, looked standoffish, and wanted to search the guy's house for drugs without a warrant. Should the homeowner be nice? Cops don't have the best reputation -- I don't blame a homeowner for being aggressive. I would be fricking livid
