This is not an SU thread.

I live in Place Du Plantier. A few of my associates consider it to be a very overpriced part of town. While I agree it is expensive, I generally have not met any narcissistic people. However, the management has been a real nuisance over the past year

Do you guys think the complexes around college are overrated

Any ideas on a different place.

The Palisades at Jaguar City would probably serve you better

Nope and in fact you could argue they are underrated. Take the apts. in Tigerland which have close proximity to LSU and a popular BR entertainment district. People shite on them because of the rampant crime and terrible conditions but like all things in life nothing is perfect.

I clearly stated that this is not an SU thread. It has to do with apartments around LSU.

Whatever you do, do not consider Fairwayview on College Drive.

Sure the handjob I received after signing my lease was great but they certainly got their reach around when they charged me $300 for not replacing the stove drip pans...

Are you still at Southern? What part of town do you spend most time in? Commuting? Working? Etc.

That's a fair price for being in incorporated Baton Rouge. However, I don't like that 550 Lee doesn't have gates and charges over $800. I will tell you this. DO NOT go to Fairway View or some of the ~$700/month places in the same area. You need to move out of town to get a decent safe place that's cheap enough to warrant a move.

Holy frick, no advice but Jesus am I glad I moved out of BR. I pay $825 for mine and live in one of the nicer complexes in Plano...don't have near the headaches I did in BR.

My advice? Find a friend and rent a fricking house

To be honest it takes 30 to 45 minutes for me to drive from Lee to SU. (I'm not an interstate driver)

Most of my time school wise is SU.

I would stay at Palisades if it had a better reputation. I heard about jaguar plaza but I didn't find out about it until this year.
