Congratulations Laffy, you have overtaken Wash., LA as the biggest POS

speed trap in the free world. I got a speed van ticket in the mail for 31 in a 25 on Bluebird. That street is a freaking 4 lane boulevard with a wide, grass median seperating the 4 lanes. There is not a house or building in sight. Nothing but pasture and trees. How in the hell is is 25 mph and why in the hell would you put a speed van there other than to set people up? I saw their shitty little picture taking car, but thought now way in hell was I speeding.

Edited for all of the self rightous out there and who cannot understand, I was going towards Camellia, on the 4 lane boulevard and the speed van was on the right side to catch all the people going over 25 (not in a neighborhood or near a school.) I also was not going towards a neighborhood or school.

If that's the case, that road runs by a school and neighborhood. He explained a big 4 lane divided. It is divided near Camelia but only for about 100 yds or so.

No, Comeaux High and the neighborhood are over mile back. This is where it runs through pasture land, way more than 100 yards.

The van is there to get people to slow down before they enter the residential neighborhood which is about 150 yards past the speed van
Same reason they have speed bumps right there
